[ Gods, he's practically forgotten his way around up here. But he hasn't quite, because that would be impossible. Equally impossible would be forgetting his old room number, shared with two rather charming individuals.

But he's been gone a while, he knows that by the way that he also can't physically forget the date it'd been when he'd left, and it compares a bit distressingly with today's date. So, rather than push the door open — he knocks.

He's feeling charitable today. ]

[Rather than just call out "Come in," she answers with a question:]

[implying]

[ There's a joke he's learned recently. Well, sort of — a wisecrack, perhaps, but that suits him well enough. He smiles, calling back: ]

Room service!

[ The accent is rather unique on the moonbase though, all things considered. ]

[The voice is pretty familiar too! She squinches up her face at the door, and then smiles, unable to help it.]

Vanadi, come in! [And she'll get up so she's at the door when he opens it, as a bonus.]

[ Open it he does, and as soon as Rin is in sight, he moves to sweep her into a hug. One arm wraps around her middle, one around her neck and shoulders, and he turns his head to press a few kisses into her hair and onto her cheek.

He's missed her, it seems safe to say. ]

[She's taken aback, for a moment. Then she hugs him back and starts to laugh. Rin loves hugs and physical affection, and this is really nice.]

Hello. You're in a good mood!

[implying]

Why, can you blame me?

[ Just a few more kisses, then he pulls back (reluctantly) just enough to address her properly. His arms stay firmly about her, though. ]

I've a beautiful roommate to welcome me back! What could I have to be sad about in the face of that?

Yeah, well, speaking of that, where have you been, Vanadi? [She raises a finger in his face and then abruptly looks concerned.] Did you go home again?

[implying]

I certainly did. [ But this smile of his doesn't make that sound like a particularly bad thing. He even looks pleased about it. ]

What happened?

[ His smile just grows. ]

Things started looking up a bit.

[ Understatement. But with that said, he moves in again, and this time that diving kiss is aimed for her lips. ]

But how - mmp! [He catches her briefly, and then she tilts her head away, instantly transformed into Rin: sulk edition.] Vanadi!

[ He only laughs, like a kid having pulled a successful prank, and finally releases her to step back. ]

Well, that's rather a poor showing for a returning dear friend!

Bleahhh! [Sticking out her tongue!] Warn a girl!

[implying]

Well then! [ He leans in again and smiles brightly, resting a hand light at each of her hips. ] I'm about to kiss you again.

[ And unless she moves away or shoves him off, in he goes for it again. ]

[She leans in!

To try and bite him on the nose.]

[ omfg rude. And yet, amusing. He laughs to be thwarted, but since this doesn't leave a great deal of distance between their lips, he twists his head a little further up a second later to try for a proper kiss again.

It's totally a goal worth having his nose bitten off for. ]

[Well, she doesn't want to bite his nose ALL the way off. She tilts her head sideways when she feels him move. He can have the cheek.]

[ Oh, fine, he'll take a kiss to the cheek. And he's grinning when he leans back again. ]

Yes?

[ Not one hint of guilt. ]

[She reaches out. One hand on his left cheek. One hand on his right cheek. Squish.]

What's got you in such a good mood?

[implying]

[ He arches both brows, and hopes he doesn't look unduly like a fish. But there are worse fates than having Rin squish his face, so he submits. ]

Why, I've come back to rejoin with a few good friends of mine. [ He smiles, and only then does he shrug away her hands, to lean in conspiratorily. ]

And, I was just about to kill her.

You were? [Oh, NOW she's excited. Rin leans in!] How did that happen?

A few rescues, a couple of friends with handy skills...

[ He hasn't taken back his hands from her hips yet, and uses them to dance-swing them toward one of the beds, to sit at the edge. ]

A bit disappointing to be taken away just then, but it's nice to have something to look forward to!

[She swoops in to hug him! It's a pretty snug hug, Vanadi should brace himself.]
