He . . . I can remember somebody like him. A lawyer, raised in LA, prosecutor-- same past, same details, same interests, and they act the same, too. They even got the same favorite play in common.

I was talkin' about him who I knew back in Edelweiss. Just-- you know, old stuff about him, and Edgeworth stopped me after a while and brought that up.

That's true enough.

It makes sense to me. I remember some people more clearly then others... I don't know why. I can only think it must be the Core, or whatever brought us here interfering. But like I said, he felt familiar. I felt... [she drums her fingers on the table a moment.] ...more comfortable around him, I suppose? Exactly as if he was someone I'd met before, even if I couldn't remember exactitudes.

Yeah. 'S the only reason I told him anythin' when he asked for a report-- just cuz he didn't feel . . . strange as everybody else.

I mean . . . I wouldn't mind seein' most o' them again. Even if it came with all them who were, were bad . . . they can be . . . they wouldn't have power no more. So I think we'd be better off.

Dunno if they would be, though, havin' to remember all that.

We got nothin' special. I mean-- we didn't go through the worst there, and we didn't have the easiest time either. Yuffie and me was staff, but you and Matt and Sasuke was patients. Different worlds, different interests, different jobs-- hell, even different ages, mostly. You're sixteen, right? I'm eighteen, Yuffie's nineteen, Sasuke's . . . sixteen, I think, and I dunno about Matt.
